Preparations underway for hi-tech business festival

The Final preparations are under way for a major festival aimed at showcasing cutting-edge business ideas.

The fourth annual iFestival launches on Friday, with an iExpo event at Leicester's Athena, in Rutland Street.

The six-week festival will include more than 150 events across the East Midlands celebrating innovative firms.

At the launch event, entrepreneurs will be pitching their business ideas in a competition for a chance to get support with turning their concepts into reality.

World land speed record holder Richard Noble will be the main speaker.
