Harborough's Joules Clothing opens first Leicester concession
The Market Harborough retailer will sell its products at a concession in Fenwick department store, in Market Street.
Fenwick spokeswoman Deborah Mann said: "This is the first Joules concession at any of the 11 Fenwick stores and the first Joules concession in Leicester. It is absolutely fantastic for us.
"The other Fenwick stores do sell Joules products, but they don't have a concession. They have been saying how lucky we are."
Joules clothing is also sold at the Irish clothing store in High Street.
Tom Joule, Joules managing director, said: "We are all incredibly excited about the opening of this new concession, which will reflect all that is new, fresh and exciting about Joules.
"Fenwick is a great family-run business and shares the same ethos as Joules."
Joules, which has 20 stores across the UK, is one of the county's fastest-growing businesses.
The company has seen annual sales soar from £3m to more than £34m since 2004, with a 52% rise in turnover in the year to January 31, 2009.
As well as 20 standalone stores, the group's clothes are sold by 900 UK stores, including Harrods, as well as 150 stockists in the United States and 370 in France and Germany.
