JCB and Rolls-Royce were among a delegation of UK firms who joined David Cameron on a trip to the sub-continent to build relationships and create new jobs.

The Prime Minister flew to India this week to try to enhance trade links with the country and boost investment opportunities.

Among the 68-strong delegation were representatives from Rolls-Royce, which has its civil aerospace and marine divisions in Derby, and Rocester-based digger manufacturer JCB, which also has factories at Foston and Uttoxeter.

Both companies already have a presence in India.
