An auditor at a Nottingham-based firm of chartered accountants is swapping his working life in the city for a three-month secondment to Melbourne in Australia.
Robert Gray, from UHY Hacker Young, is taking part in the corporate secondment scheme, which will see him temporarily transfer to UHY Haines Norton in Melbourne, the Australian arm of the firm.
Mr Gray said: "I heard about the scheme and couldn't find many reasons not to apply. I believe the experience can only be positive for my development. International experience is always a valuable asset. I hope to learn new skills to bring back."
