Design students from a university have won three of the top four prizes in a national competition.De Montfort University students triumphed at The Formica® Design Awards 2007/08 - a national search to find talent.
First prize went to Jade Horwood, 23, who graduates from the university with a degree in interior design next month.

She created washrooms with a screen where people could write comments or messages, which could then be projected on to toilet doors.
She won £1,000, a laptop computer and four tickets to 100 per cent Design Exhibition, at Earl's Court, London, in September.
