PwC promotes Kachhela and Parker to partnership

A leading accountancy firm is celebrating the promotion of two of its East Midlands directors to the partnership.

PricewaterhouseCoopers has promoted Trusha Kachhela to a partner in the tax team. She will be bringing 14 years of experience at the firm to the role.

Based at the company's Castle Donington office, she will be responsible for developing its East Midlands tax practice and working with private equity companies across the Midlands.

Andy Parker, who moved to the East Midlands five years ago, becomes partner in the corporate finance team, after 12 years working across the wider Midlands region.

The company said the changes, which came into effect on Tuesday, reflected its continued strong performance and commitment to the business community - and embraced some of the firm's key regional areas of expertise, including tax and financial advisory services.

Commenting on the promotions, Andy Lyon, senior partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the East Midlands, said: "We are committed to rewarding excellent performance across the firm and are delighted to welcome these exceptionally talented individuals to the partnership.

"As a firm, we remain focused on recruiting and training the best people across the business. We also continue to strive to be a great place to work and encourage our people to grow with the firm, while investing in their development. We regard this people-focused approach as integral to our success."
