A Hairdressing group, whose head office and training academy is based in Long Eaton, has reached the finals of the British Hairdressing Business Awards.

Keith Hall Hairdressing has been voted by a panel of industry experts as providing some of the best staff training in the country. It has beaten thousands of entries to be among just six finalists.

Keith Hall Hairdressing's training academy recently underwent a £150,000 refurbishment, which now includes 28 styling stations where students can learn practical skills, practise running a salon booking system and do theory work.

Darren Messias, the group's creative director said: "Training is at the heart of our business. We believe that our dedication and commitment sets us apart from the rest."
