King sturge brings cef to Colwick

Property consultants King Sturge have pre-let a unit in Nottingham's newest trade counter park to one of Europe's largest electrical wholesalers.

City Electrical Factors (CEF) has agreed to take one of four units at City Business Park in Colwick.

Work is under way to redevelop the business park which fronts Colwick Loop Road and stands between Road No 1 and Road No 8.

CEF, a world-wide wholesaler with outlets in Dubai, USA and Australia, as well as throughout Europe, will move to the new unit from its current Nottingham base at Brand Street, close to Meadow Lane.

City Business Park is less than three miles from Nottingham city centre and is well placed for the amenities of nearby Victoria Retail Park.

The development offers a rare opportunity to acquire purpose built trade counter units close to the centre of Nottingham. Each has a dedicated yard and car park and are available to satisfy requirements ranging from 3,230 sq ft to 9,905 sq ft.

The units are expected to be ready for occupation in September.

David Haywood, Group Manager of CEF, said: "This is a great re-development which will give a boost to the whole area.

"The site is extremely well located and we are looking forward to relocating from our existing Nottingham branch as soon as the work here is completed."

Tom Dickens, of King Sturge. added: "We were delighted to secure the letting to City Electrical Factors and now that construction is underway and considering the interest we have had to date we expect to dispose of the remaining units very soon."
